PRACTISING WHAT WE PREACH FOR A VIDEO PRESENTATION


I was recently given the rather exciting project of writing a video presentation to promote and indorse the good name of Eyeful in our quest to rid the world of ineffective business presentations…

When I came to the actual task of writing, I found myself staring at a blank page for a few minutes, it suddenly dawned on me that I should be asking…how would Eyeful set about assisting a client who needed help from a Presentation design company such as ourselves?

Suddenly everything became clear…

Moving on to your audience, our presentation optimisation process would develop a deep understanding of your audience, where we will challenge you to truly address the main challenges that your audience face, before planning a presentation message and structure that clearly demonstrates how you are the absolute solution to those issues.

After some careful consideration, I decided that my audience is…

A senior business presenter who deep down knows that their presentations could be better and need a service provider they can trust to help.
I kept my aim and audience in my mind and applied this insight to my script by showcasing the benefits that Eyeful’s Presentation Optimisation approach brings…

Prove it…
Saying it is one thing, but audiences need proof. So the next stage in our process is in convincing your audience that you’ll deliver on your promise...the all-important proof points.  

So I pulled together a selection of the positive feedback that we’ve received and applied these to my script…

Call to action…
It’s absolutely crazy, but so many presentations just stop at this point and don’t have any strong call to action. If your audience doesn’t understand what you want as a result of your presentation, then everyone’s time has been wasted – no next steps, no sale, no point!

We would always build a very strong call to action into your presentation’s structure…

Once your presentation’s structure is clearly defined, the messages and content debated, and the whole thing has been clearly storyboarded, we would hand it over to our world class presentation designers to bring the whole concept to life – which is exactly what I did, and they delivered me this amazing video…

The result has been tremendous, as we’ve already received several requests for support in upcoming events and more video presentation enquiries for 2017, demonstrating what we already knew… the Eyeful way works…
