THE CHALLENGE

TAKING A 24 HOUR 40 MILE COASTAL WALK FOR THE BROWN DOG CHARITY

On the 14th and 15th June 2019, our senior project manager, Lloyd, will taking part in the Moonfleet Challenge to raise money for the Brown Dog Charity who buy essential equipment to help people fight cancer. In 2019, Brown Dog is trying to raise £30,000 to buy equipment that will improve the treatment/outcome of prostrate, womb and lung cancer.

For the challenge he has to walk 40 miles, which will take a whopping 23 hours to complete and involve walking through the night without any sleep. Also the coastal walk from Polzeath to Bude is really undulating and demanding making it a very difficult challenge. For example by the end of the walk he will have climbed 10,439 feet which is higher than climbing Ben Nevis and Snowdon at 9973 feet!

This demanding challenge will be worth it if he can raise money for this extremely good cause. We’re hoping you can you help him…
